Google Finance Enhances Platform with AI-Powered Research and Earnings Analysis

Google Finance Enhances Platform with AI

For anyone trying to make sense of the markets, the numbers can feel overwhelming. That’s where the new Google Finance steps in. It takes the chaos of financial data and turns it into something readable, usable, even insightful. When you’re tracking trends, running technical analyses, or just catching up on headlines, everything now lives in one place, working together to tell the story behind the markets.

Google Finance is building on its foundation with a range of powerful upgrades, including a new Deep Search feature, access to prediction market data, and improved tools for tracking corporate earnings. The platform is also expanding globally, with its first international rollout starting in India.

To help users tackle their most challenging investment and research queries, Google Finance has launched Deep Search, a new feature that uses Gemini’s latest models to deliver richer, more detailed insights.

To use Deep Search, users simply enter a detailed question and select the feature from the menu. The tool then launches a complex research process, running hundreds of searches at once and pulling from a wide range of sources to produce a fully cited, multi-layered answer within minutes. Users can watch the process in real time and follow up with additional questions or dive directly into the cited material.

Google says Deep Search will roll out to the new Google Finance in the coming weeks. Users subscribed to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra plans will receive higher usage limits. Early access is available through the Google Finance experiment in Google Labs.

To support better insight into future market scenarios, Google Finance is also integrating data from prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket. This lets users view and query probabilities for potential events, such as GDP growth in 2025, and monitor how those predictions evolve.

Google Finance also introduced a new earnings hub to make it easier to stay informed throughout earnings season. The feature provides timely updates and quick insights before, during, and after companies report their results.

Users can start by checking the Upcoming Earnings calendar or choosing a company from their watchlist. The new Earnings tab shows when the next call is scheduled to take place. Once it begins, you can listen to the live audio and follow along with a real-time transcript, which remains available for later review.

Just below the earnings call details, the “At a glance” section brings everything together. It refreshes in real time with headlines, analyst reactions, and other key developments. From there, you can dig deeper, comparing the newest results to past performance, checking how they measure up to forecasts, or pulling up earlier filings and reports.

For the first time, Google Finance is stepping beyond U.S. borders. The new version is now rolling out in India, complete with English and Hindi language support to reach more users than ever. While features like Deep Search, prediction market data, and the improved earnings view will arrive in the U.S. first, they’re set to expand soon to India and beyond. You can try the new experience at google.com/finance/beta on any device, just sign in with your Google Account.
