Just before its July 22 Unpacked event, Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy Card. The new credit card lets users earn tiered cash back, with the biggest rewards coming from spending on Samsung products and services.

Cardholders will receive 5% cash back on eligible purchases made directly through Samsung. Based on an expected starting price of $1,500 for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, buyers could earn about $75 in rewards from a single purchase.

New cardholders can earn a $200 cash bonus by spending $2,000 within the first 90 days after opening an account. The card also offers 3% cash back on purchases made through Samsung Wallet, 2% on eligible streaming subscriptions, and 1% on all other spending. Cardholders also receive a 20% discount on Samsung’s VIP Advantage membership, which includes loyalty perks and extended warranty benefits.

Samsung will begin accepting Galaxy Card applications on July 22, the day its Unpacked event starts at 9 a.m. ET. Customers can apply online or at Samsung retail locations, with the expected hardware launches providing an early opportunity to earn the card’s 5% cash-back reward.

With the Galaxy Card, Samsung joins other major technology companies that offer branded payment cards. Apple has long offered the Apple Card, while Amazon also provides several co-branded credit card options.
