Samsung just turned up the heat in the gaming monitor space with its 2026 Odyssey lineup. The company is rolling out five new models, led by some eye-catching firsts, including a glasses-free 3D screen and refresh rates topping 1,000Hz, clearly aimed at gamers and creators who want the best of the best.
Leading the lineup is the Odyssey 3D (G90H), a 32-inch monitor featuring the world’s first 6K glasses-free 3D display. Using real-time eye tracking, the screen adjusts depth and perspective based on where the viewer is positioned, delivering a layered visual effect without requiring special eyewear. Samsung lists a 165Hz refresh rate, expandable to 330Hz through Dual Mode, along with a 1ms response time. The company is also partnering with game developers to enhance 3D support in titles such as The First Berserker: Khazan and Stellar Blade.

For esports players who care about speed above all else, the 27-inch Odyssey G6 (G60H) goes to extremes. Samsung says it’s the first monitor to hit 1,040Hz using Dual Mode, while still pushing QHD at up to 600Hz. The idea is simple: cleaner motion and easier tracking when everything on screen is moving at breakneck speed. It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium and is certified as NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible for smoother gameplay.
The Odyssey G8 range now includes three models, offering options to suit different needs and preferences:
- The flagship 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS) is hailed as the industry’s first 6K gaming monitor, offering native 165Hz performance (330Hz in 3K Dual Mode).
- The 27-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HF) provides a sharper 5K resolution at 180Hz native, boostable to 360Hz in QHD.
- The 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH) opts for a 4K QD-OLED panel, combining a 240Hz refresh rate, Glare Free technology, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification for supreme contrast and cinematic visuals.
“With this year’s Odyssey lineup, we’re introducing display experiences that simply weren’t possible even a year ago,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung’s Visual Display Business. “We designed these monitors to meet the ambitions of today’s gamers and deliver a level of immersion that fundamentally changes how content looks and functions on screen.”
According to IDC, Samsung currently leads the global high-refresh-rate (144Hz+) gaming monitor market with an 18.8% revenue share. With these new products, the company is aiming to maintain that lead for a seventh consecutive year.
The full 2026 Odyssey lineup will be on display for the public at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6-9. Here is the lineup list as quoted from Samsung’s website.
