After its late-May debut, Dell’s reintroduced XPS 13 is now available through online and retail channels. The entry-level configuration starts at $599 for students, while standard pricing begins at $699.

The launch comes shortly after Apple introduced the MacBook Neo, its first budget-oriented laptop built for the education market. The device received positive marks in many reviews, and Apple has already secured an agreement to deploy more than 4,500 units across Kansas City Public Schools.
With the XPS 13 finally on sale, it’ll be interesting to see if Dell can find the same kind of success Apple has had with a comparable device.
