Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have confirmed that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will begin on June 25. The announcement, made on Thursday, signals the start of the companies’ planned summer marketing campaign ahead of the game’s November 19 launch.
Along with confirming pre-orders, Rockstar also unveiled the official cover art for GTA VI. The artwork follows the franchise’s established style, combining a collection of illustrated scenes that highlight Vice City’s setting, characters, vehicles, weapons, and wildlife.
No new trailer was released with the announcement, though many fans believe one could arrive around the start of pre-orders. Rockstar has not confirmed any plans, but opening pre-orders is one of the clearest signs so far that the November 19 launch date remains unchanged. With only five months to go, Grand Theft Auto VI is still on schedule for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
