Microsoft is now rolling out updates to Paint for Windows Insiders across the Canary, Dev, and Beta Channels on Windows 11. Paint itself is a lightweight and simple graphic editor application included with the Windows 11 operating system, designed for basic editing. Now, with the advancement of AI, Microsoft has added a feature called Restyle, which can transform images on your Paint editor canvas.
With the new Restyle feature, Paint gives you a simple way to reinvent your images. Powered by AI, it transforms your artwork into fresh styles right on the canvas. Just open Paint, choose Restyle from the Copilot menu, and explore a variety of preset looks. Click Generate, and your reimagined image will be ready to use, copy, or save.

The Restyle feature will certainly be useful when we have old images that we want to turn into newer and fresher images with the vibe we desire. We believe this feature is perfect for those who are passionate about photography as well as those who enjoy creating images.
How can you get the Paint version equipped with the Restyle feature? Of course, you need to subscribe to Windows Insider, then you can update your Paint application to Paint version 11.2509.441.0. To update it, you can do so via the built-in Windows Update in Windows 11, or if available, you can update it via the Microsoft Store.
Unfortunately, for now, Restyle features are available exclusively on Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs. You will need to sign in with your Microsoft account to access this feature. If you want to see the developments of MS Paint over time, you can visit the link with the MS Paint tag here.
