Razer Enters the XLR Audio Market With the New Seiren V3 Pro

Razer Seiren V3 Pro

Razer is stepping further into the creator space with the Seiren V3 Pro, its first streaming and podcasting mic to support XLR connections. With built-in audio processing and a handful of easy-to-use features, it’s designed for everyone from beginners to experienced creators.

The biggest upgrade from the earlier Seiren V3 Chroma is the addition of an XLR connector, which joins two USB-C ports on the microphone. While XLR remains the industry-standard connection for professional audio equipment, it requires an audio interface or mixer to work with a computer. By supporting both USB and XLR, the Seiren V3 Pro allows beginners to start with a simple plug-and-play setup while providing a clear upgrade path as their needs grow.

Razer’s focus on accessibility extends beyond connectivity. The Seiren V3 Pro integrates onboard DSP processing, including AI-powered noise suppression, compression, limiting, and expansion, all accessible when connected via USB-C. Combined with an integrated shock absorber and pop filter, the microphone is designed to minimize setup complexity and deliver polished audio without additional hardware.

The unibody microphone includes onboard controls for gain adjustment and muting, along with an adjustable arm mount that helps reduce vibration noise. It is equipped with a 30mm cardioid capsule and supports a frequency range of 50Hz to 16kHz. Although narrower than the range offered by many dedicated studio microphones, it is similar to other streaming-focused microphones, including the Shure MV7+ and Shure SM58.

The Seiren V3 Pro is compatible with Razer Synapse, which provides access to features such as 32-bit float recording and customizable RGB lighting. The microphone is priced at $249.99.
