Apple appears to have more products planned before the year wraps up. This follows the recent launch of the iPhone 18 Pro and folding iPhone Duo. Based on code and images found by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris, the lineup is expected to include a new HomePod mini, an iPad mini 8, and an updated Apple TV 4K.
Not much has leaked so far, but the HomePod Mini 2 is expected to keep a design similar to the original 2020 model. The main difference appears to be in color. While the current version comes in brighter shades like orange, yellow, and blue, leaked images show the new model in green, pink, blue, white, and black – more muted tones meant to blend in with home decor.
The iPad mini 8 will replace the seventh-generation model, which launched two years ago, and comes with an upgraded chip – moving from the A17 Pro to the A20 Pro, the same processor used in the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max and Duo. Leaked images show only the front of the device, but reveal that the front-facing camera has been relocated to the landscape edge. A groove along the top of the display, similar to the iPhone’s, suggests an added speaker as well.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has also reported that the next iPad may feature improved waterproofing, made possible by a new vibration-based speaker, along with an OLED display similar to the one on the larger iPad Pro.
Apple’s current-gen Apple TV is closing in on four years old, but the latest leaks stay quiet on most upgrade details, pointing only to a design that closely resembles its predecessor. Earlier findings from MacRumors’ Perris suggested a possible move to the A17 Pro chip, while Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported back in 2024 that the next model would adopt Apple’s in-house Bluetooth and Wi-Fi chip, since branded the N1.
