Earlier clues about the ColleXion surfaced through a leaked image of actor Damson Idris wearing the headphones, hinting at a more premium take on Sony’s popular WH-1000 lineup. The latest leak goes further, showing the product from several angles and detailing its main features.

The ColleXion separates itself from current XM models with metal accents and thicker padding on the headband and ear cups. Sony is expected to offer the headphones in black and white, with the black version using darker accents instead of chrome for a more understated design. The package includes a four-foot 3.5mm cable and a sculpted carrying case with a built-in handle and magnetic closure, reinforcing the product’s premium look and feel.

The leak also shows several design updates, including redesigned buttons on the ear cups and revised microphone grilles. According to the leaked specifications, the headphones could deliver up to 24 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation enabled, along with a six-microphone AI beamforming array, adaptive noise cancellation optimization, and “studio-grade sound quality.”

If the leak proves accurate, all of this will come at a price of $649. That places the ColleXion $200 above Sony’s current flagship WH-1000XM6 headphones, deliberately pitching it into the same conversation as luxury audio alternatives from brands such as Bowers & Wilkins.
