U.S. buyers of certain iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models have until Dec. 21, 2026, to submit a claim, with estimated payments starting at $25 per device.
Apple is paying $250 million to settle claims that it failed to deliver an AI-upgraded Siri, and eligible iPhone owners can now submit a claim for a payout.
U.S. buyers who purchased an iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 model between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025, are now eligible to file a claim through the settlement website, MacRumors first reported.
Eligible claimants can receive an estimated $25 per eligible device, according to the settlement website. That amount can increase to $95 depending on how many people file claims, the website notes.
Claimants must submit their name, contact details, and iPhone serial number through the settlement website by the Dec. 21, 2026, deadline.
According to the lawsuit, Apple created a “clear and reasonable consumer expectation” that the AI features unveiled at WWDC 2024 would be available with the iPhone 16 at launch. In reality, the phone was released with a more limited feature set, despite being marketed as “built for Apple Intelligence.” Apple also pushed back the release of its upgraded Siri, which didn’t arrive until iOS 27 earlier this month.
